Position Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly technical Aras Technical Lead to join our product development team. The Aras Technical Lead will serve as the technical authority for the design, development, customization, integration, and
support of the Aras Innovator platform in support of enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives. This role will lead technical solutioning efforts, provide guidance to development teams, and partner closely with business
stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing PLM solutions. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Aras Innovator, enterprise system integrations, and software
development best practices, with the ability to drive technical initiatives from concept through implementation in cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the technical design, configuration, customization, and implementation of the Aras Innovator platform across enterprise environments, supporting cloud, hybrid, and on-premise deployment models.
• Architect and implement scalable, resilient, and secure PLM solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Design, develop, and support Aras customizations, workflows, forms, methods, and integrations using Aras best practices and enterprise development standards.
• Lead technical solutioning and integration efforts between Aras and enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, CAD, and other engineering or manufacturing platforms.
• Collaborate closely with functional teams, developers, business stakeholders, and solution architects to drive feature development, issue resolution, and continuous platform improvement.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing across development teams.
• Support CI/CD, source control, automation, and DevOps practices for deployment, testing, and release management.
• Provide L3 support for complex production issues, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, defect remediation, and performance optimization.
• Ensure technical solutions follow security, scalability, maintainability, and performance best practices.
• Drive technical initiatives end-to-end independently while supporting cross-functional program objectives.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing, configuring, and supporting the Aras Innovator platform in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Aras Innovator customization, configuration, workflows, forms, methods, lifecycle management, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in .NET/C#, REST APIs, SQL, XML, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience integrating Aras with enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, CAD, PLM, or manufacturing systems.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and DevOps practices supporting enterprise applications.
Familiarity with cloud and hybrid enterprise environments (AWS, Azure, or equivalent) and application deployment best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills in complex enterprise environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders.
• Self-starter capable of prioritizing tasks and driving technical initiatives independently.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience serving as a Technical Lead, Solution Lead, or Architect on enterprise Aras/PLM implementations.
• Experience supporting engineering change management, BOM management, document management, or product lifecycle management processes.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell or Python.
• Experience supporting cloud-native, hybrid, or containerized enterprise application environments.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and enterprise software delivery practices.
